What if you could see music? (2026)
Role: Painter
I’ve begun performing as a live painter alongside musicians, improvising abstract murals that bring the music to life in real time. The experience feels like dancing with paint. I’ve since expanded the project into my home studio to celebrate the connection between music and visual art.
This work is a vivid celebration of my mirror-touch synesthesia, a condition that allows me to physically feel the emotions of others—an intensity that becomes even more powerful in the presence of live music.
I launched this project with the Arpeggione Ensemble, a historically informed chamber group that brings both beloved and lesser-known masterpieces to the North Shore.
