What if you could see music? (2026)

Role: Live abstract painter

I’ve begun performing as a live painter alongside musicians, improvising abstract murals that bring the music to life in real time. The experience feels like dancing with paint.

This work is a vivid celebration of my mirror-touch synesthesia, a condition that allows me to physically feel the emotions of others—an intensity that becomes even more powerful in the presence of live music.

I launched this project with the Arpeggione Ensemble, a historically informed chamber group that brings both beloved and lesser-known masterpieces to the North Shore.
